Nelco was founded in 1952. Since then Nelco has provided products and services to the needs of the tax and accounting industry. As technology changed in the 1980s, Nelco's product line vastly expanded to accommodate the huge demand for computer tax forms. Nelco was the frontrunner in the development of files for printing forms on a laser printer. We've developed close relationships with the IRS and state tax agencies to remain current with tax law, form changes, and electronic tax filing requirements. Throughout Nelco's history, we've continued to listen to the needs of the tax and accounting industry. This, combined with our experience and expertise, has allowed us to provide the highest quality products and services. Nelco's primary product lines include federal and state tax forms and tax supplies, checks and office supplies, electronic tax filing software, and laser check writing products. Our tax form line consists of over 5,000 forms, available in various construction for manual and computer preparation. Every tax form that Nelco offers is available as a laser printer form file which we develop. Nelco provides these laser form files to hundreds of software companies that include the files in their tax, accounting, client write-up, and similar software packages. Nelco has been a developer of electronic filing software and services since the program was started by the IRS in 1986. We currently assist in the electronic filing of over one million federal and state tax returns. Nelco is also involved with the development of complete electronic filing host systems for certain state departments of revenue. The expertise that Nelco has acquired through the tax industry has led to the creation of our MICR Warehouse Laser Check Writing Software. Laser printing complete checks, including the MICR code line, logos, and signatures, is fast becoming a necessity for businesses. Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) technology is essential for the accurate processing of checks by banks. All orders are checked for accuracy and, when applicable, compatibility with software. | We maintain a data base that tracks customer questions and inquiries, which helps to provide the best possible service. For ordering ease, Nelco regularly sends an Express Reorder Form to customers, that lists items which were previously ordered. This order and service maintenance system is state of the art technology, built around the commitment of providing the best possible products and services.
